This is the complete test setup, the USB cable goes to my FreeBSD PC.
Note
I use a MSP-EXP430G2 Board because I have one and it’s convenient, but half of the board is wasted as only the MSP430 is used, and the ‘Emulation’ half is disconnected. A single MSP430 chip can be used instead of the MSP-EXP430G2 Board.
Remove Target Jumpers¶
- Remove these jumpers on the MSP-EXP430G2 Board to isolate the MSP430 chip from the Emulation support circuitry.
